How do you play?

The multitouch surface and donation mechanism are used to attract participants and create an experiential platform where consequences are meaningfully and playfully connected with civic knowledge. The top portion of the collection box holds all donations in escrow until someone commits to taking the test. If a player answers twenty questions, the money is deposited as a regular donation. If fifty (or more) questions are answered correctly, the money is deposited as a matched donation. If a donation is accepted, a receipt is printed as a token of participation. Future implementations could also push messages directly from the table to various social media platforms, encouraging a renewed commitment to civics education in schools and beyond.  [–] ...
